Sigma Chi’s Derby Days is a nationally-renowned philanthropy. Chapters all across the United States and Canada participate in the week-long extravaganza that includes field day competitions, skit nights, spaghetti feeds, and much more. Our chapter contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation surpassed $100,000 this year—a huge milestone in our philanthropic history. Derby Days is widely considered one of the most popular and beneficial philanthropies in the Greek Community, and was a finalist for this year’s IFC Outstanding Philanthropy Event Award. This year’s first-annual Dawg Donor Days blood drive was a huge success this year. Over seventy people turned out to donate blood to the Puget Sound Blood Center, and we are hoping for even more next year.
